In the post-Apocalyptic United States, a man must battle the undead while searching for an antidote after being infected by one.

Set amidst the chaos of a future dystopian America, Frank Perkins, a militia gravedigger, sets out to find a cure for a zombie infection after he is exposed to one, but finds himself confronted with old family demons when his estranged brother (Carl) suddenly appears to reunite with his wife (Donna). Frank must reconcile Carl's compulsive alcoholism, a suicidal Donna, and brave a countryside riddled with cannibalistic zombies in order to find a cure before he becomes one himself.
