Tom attempts to clear the name of a man who has been wrongfully accused of murdering a prison guard.

In the 8th film of PRC's "Lone Rider" series, Smoky Moore is riding to Cheyenne to see his foster father, Sheriff Bill Hastings, whom he has not seen in fifteen years. Smoky catches town Mayor Dan Blodgett and Mort Saunders, head of the Cattleman's Association, robbing the bank at night. They get the drop on him, and he is accused of the crime. He is rescued from jail by his friends Tom (Lone Rider) Cameron and Fuzzy Jones and weeks later, the trio returns disguised to prevent recognition, and begin a campaign to smash the crooked city administration.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
