The Lismore Lantern Parade is an annual event held on the evening of the winter solstice in the rural town of Lismore in northern NSW. The Parade, approaching its 20th anniversary, attracts many tens of thousands of people and is one of the largest community events in the region. This documentary looks at the parade and the people who make it happen on a shoestring budget.
