The Life opens on a former criminal sitting in an alleyway, with a gunshot in his side. He's just killed many of his former friends, because they killed his wife. In flashbacks, he explains that he once was in a gang and he met a woman who changed his life. We see him propose marriage to her. He promises he'll quit after one final job, but he gets arrested. Five years later, he's released and reunites with his wife. He never contacts the gang. They take this as an act of betrayal and they kill his wife for it. We return to the alleyway when the police show up for the grand finale.—Anonymous
