A devout priest welcomes a struggling couple into his house at Christmas time. What begins as a simple act of kindness quickly becomes the ultimate test of faith once the sanctity of his home is jeopardized.

Faced with the daily challenge of keeping the faith of his dwindling congregation alive, Father David, a devout Catholic priest, has a chance encounter with homeless Terry on a chilly night. And eager to practise what he preaches, the compassionate man of God is happy to take in the lost soul who has fallen on hard times. However, when the down-and-out guest takes advantage of the Good Samaritan's hospitality, a selfless act of kindness and Christmas charity quickly becomes a twisted parasitic relationship.
