A five-year-old Klein finds his father's gun under the bed believing it's a toy and fire's a shot wounding his seven-year-old brother Tyrone and his friend Nardy. Learning of the shooting by his 10-year-old sister Sonya, Klein's mother rushes to the scene to find her son Tyrone has already been taken to the hospital and her baby boy Calvin in the presence of the police, who is asking a young Calvin "where is the gun" that wounded the other children?
Back in the 90's at a place in his life between being a stick-up kid and a drug dealer, Klein is 24 years old. He is on the phone at a trap house as one of his boy's is looking around for his gun. Klein's boy Cuzz enters the apartment with news that a hit, two months' in planning is about to go down that evening. Incognito Klein and Cuzz hit the drug holding spot that has lots of drugs and cash in it. Later that evening back at the trap house Klein and Cuzz counts money and discusses the events of the evening.
While having a bite to eat with his boy Ace, leaving a store in Red Hook, Klein gets a call from his girlfriend Kay who informs him that her mother is requesting an audience with him. Ms. Reeves Kay's mother wants to confront Klein about his beef with her son Damon.
Back in the holding cell, Klein regains his composure and displays a troubling picture of his brother Tyrone. Officers remove the brothers from the holding cell to be taken off to federal prison.
