Animated series (loosely) based on the film series, in which Daniel, Miyagi and new friend Taki travel the world in search of an ancient Japanese talisman.

Staying in Okinawa for a bit after Chozen's defeat, Mr. Miyagi and Daniel LaRousso are alerted by the temple girl, Taki, to the theft of a small magic Chinese shrine talisman by persons unknown. Together, the trio pursue the shrine around the world to return it to its rightful place. However, that quest will not be easy as numerous villains are determined to exploit the shrine for their own ends and it will take all of our heroes skill and daring to thwart them.—Kenneth Chisholm (kchishol@rogers.com)

An animated spin-off of the film series "The Karate Kid". A miniature shrine with magic powers is stolen from a temple in Okinawa. The martial artist Mr. Miyagi, his apprentice Daniel LaRusso, and the Okinawan girl Taki Tamurai are traveling the world in an attempt to retrieve it. The shrine keeps appearing in random locations across the world, such as the cities of Hong Kong, New York City, Paris, London, and Tijuana, and keeps changing hands. Nearly everyone who uses the shrine's magic, hero or villain, quickly gets drunk with power and becomes mentally unstable.—Dimos I
