Tarzan fights White poachers who trespass on his domain and on lands belonging to the native Sukulu tribe.

Hunters trespass into Sukulu country, where animals are sacred, posing as photographers. Their work has the blessing of the U.N.'s Dr. Celliers, close friend of the Sukulu chief. The hunters send the animals across a river where they can be shot, and the natives throw the good doctor and his nurse into a lion pit. In search of smooth lion skins, rich animal fat, and precious ivory, the vicious hunters, DeGroot and Reeves, set foot in the secret territory of the Sukulu, a tribe that reveres animals. Posing as a pair of photographers, the dangerous men talk the United Nations doctor, Dr Celliers, the only white man allowed on the lush Sukulu land, into guiding them, intent on driving countless animals out of their territory so that they can slaughter them without interference from the natives. Before long, Celliers' nurse, Jill Hardy, who is onto them, finds herself facing certain death, and the doctor, too, is next.
