THE ISLAND -THE SYNOPSISEnclosed in the cubicle of a military intelligence unit, Hamza, a colonel in the army intercepts a conversation between an unknown terrorist and agent transacting a business deal on weapons on sale. Triggered by the overwhelming excitement and eagerness to get the Intel to his commanding officer, Hamza makes the most shocking and terrifying discovery of his life. His boss, Major Uduak L. Ibokso happens to be the agent on the end of the line and his lips sinks quite well into the ongoing conversation as it filters in Hamza's ears.
Hamza decided to record and save the Intel in a flash drive which he must not compromise. Troubled by the weight of the Intel, Hamza shared his trouble with his wife and informs her of his intention to take the flash drive to the army headquarters first thing in the morning. The next day, on his way to the headquarters, Hamza is attached, shot and wounded by a special team in the army
Now he has the option to surrender the flash drive and stay alive or keep it and die. But Hamza knows better thank to make a deal with the devil. His journey to save his his life leads him to uncover more government secrets and a group of survivors on the island. The Island is a fiction which creates a perception of corruption in the nations's security. It's characters, situation and story are all fictions and pure work of arts that will challenge patriotism amid corrupt influences. The information as saved in a flash drive will not only end Major Uduack's reign , it will also destroy his life. Nevertheless, despite the risk & betrayal from his wife, Hamza is determined to do the right thing for his country.
