A New Zealander's parents are killed, he goes to Los Angeles homeless. He fights for food, is recruited by a fixer into moving money for crime families. He tries to leave, the fixer sends assassins after him.

The INTERMEDIATE is about a young man, Lo'o Fauua (Sam Puefua) who leaves his home in Auckland City New Zealand after his parents are murdered, to pursue the American dream. Arriving in Los Angeles California and living on the streets with the homeless, Lo'o becomes adapt at fighting for food. His pugilistic skill gets the attention of James Edward Boothe. Boothe takes Lo'o under his wing and teaches him what it takes to become a corporate bag man for his organization. Lo'o learns that Boothe moves millions of dollars for several notorious crime families, and other shadow entities that want to remain anonymous. Disillusioned with the felonious lifestyle that he's living, Lo'o tries to leave the agency causing Boothe to send a cavalcade of blood-thirsty assassins to his door step looking to bury him six feet deep.—Xavier Q.
