Man is strangled in a park in Evosmos. Police officers Manos Kallidis and Petros Theodorou investigate, overcoming their differences, until they solve the case.
A comedic crime short story centered on a murder by strangulation. Two homicide detectives, ideologically opposed but longtime friends, join forces to solve the case. Manos Kalydis and Petros Theodorou, colleagues and friends for years, find themselves investigating a homicide. Both members of the homicide division, they must work step by step to unravel the crime. However, their contrasting personalities threaten to complicate the investigation. Manos is a workaholic, firmly committed to human laws and justice. In contrast, Petros is a gentler person, devoted solely to the laws and justice of God. The murder takes place in a park in Evosmos. The victim is an employee of a criminal organization, and the perpetrator works for a rival gang with longstanding animosity towards the first. The two detectives arrive at the crime scene the next day. From the outset, their close bond is evident, creating an upbeat atmosphere despite the grim presence of a dead body. Weeks later, the investigation leads them to the interrogation room, where they spend hours questioning witnesses and suspects. One day, the two colleagues take a walk outside of work, discussing the murder and new evidence. Once again, their differences spark humorous and friendly interactions. This dynamic persists as they edge closer to solving the case. When they inspect a car, Manos searches it thoroughly but is left unsatisfied. He mocks Petros' faith, as Petros was praying. Sooner or later, however, Manos comes to regret his words after what he witnesses.
