A group of teenagers live in a small nieghborhood, everybody know each other and all are good friends. However, behind a wall there is a big city of rich people, that will do anything to make the others feel bad.

In the middle of one of the richest districts in the country lies "The Hood," a dingy cluster of low-income housing where modest, blue-collar families live. One such family is the Ben-Davids. The dad, Ben, is a widower who struggles to support his five kids. But after a string of failed businesses, Ben is on the verge of bankruptcy and possibly prison. Tales of a mystical treasure lead his kids on a dangerous quest that could change their lives forever. The Hood weaves these dramatic story-lines with both comedy and excitement.
