As Christmas approaches, Ralph Kramden's latest get-rich scheme risks his and Alice's life savings -- and trusting pal Ed Norton's holiday bonus -- on the lottery. The gamble also places Alice's mother's Social Security check in jeopardy.
Ralph agrees to produce, direct, and star in his Boss, Mr. Marshall's wife's annual fund raising Christmas benefit show, "A Christmas Carol". Problems arise when Ralph realizes he has promised to take Alice to Miami the same weekend as the show. Hilarity ensues when Ralph re-writes the Dickens classic, and with Norton directing it's bound to be hit. When the show is a hit, all is forgiven.—Chris M Rose
