Five thieves take refuge in cabin as distrust and greed stirs among the group, an infection erupts in the world outside and chaos ensues.
Cole a former thief is forced back into the life by Hacksaw Henry to save Charlie who was caught stealing. Charlie is a rundown waitress at Henrys bar, she and Cole have always spark between them. Cole assembles his old band of thieves back together. They plan rob bank and retreat back to a cabin.
As they head to their hideout, Charlie finds a transmitter in Hugos phone. She quickly realizes hes an informant. She shows it to Cole and he immediately takes action. They dump the car and march through the woods. Out of nowhere, Cole whips around and executes Hugo. Theres an intense standoff which quickly diffuses.
They are attacked by crazed maniacs and scurry to back to the cabin where greed, anger, and mistrust arises.A confrontation explodes between Tony and Cole into a knife fight. The two snap out of as a television report explains the danger. Abruptly, they hear a noise coming from the bedroom and go to investigate. They enter the empty room. Hugo crashes through the window and rips Charlie out. Cole goes out after her.
The infected randomly attack Cole as he searches. He finds her and Hugo attacks him. They struggle, Charlie comes to and bashes him with a rock. They head back to the Cabin where they find Tony has Killed Joey and now stands with the money. Tony forces them out of the cabin as bait for the infected. Cole quickly grabs Charlies and they pinch themselves behind the door. The crazed maniacs rush in and kill Tony.
Cole and Charlie escape into the night chased by maniacs. They find a barn and barricade themselves inside. Soon, the sheriff's show up and discover everything isn't what it seems.
