During a boxing match a fighter accidentally kills his opponent in the ring. Afterwards he finds himself falling in love with the dead man's sister.

In order to marry his sweetheart Marion Shilling, prizefighter Lloyd Hughes accepts a fight against her brother George Lewis. Unknown to him, the brother has a condition that renders him unfit to be in a boxing ring.
