In the Northern Province of The Philippines lives, a wealthy wheelchair bound sixty year old atheist man, hires a caregiver, Angela a religious woman. Susan, daughter of Angela, finds herself in her own world. A new world of possibilities awaits for the mother and daughter if they move and live in the city of Manila, a city under scrutiny with the government War on Drug program and a city where religious leaders leads the protest against the government. With sprawling daily news from the media, citizens often mislead from the truth or twisted news.
