A magician is hired to prevent a jewel heist but the diamonds still disappear despite him being near them.

"The Transparent Man" -- When a jewel thief announces his intention to steal a priceless necklace, the owner asks The Great Merlini to be on the spot at the hour indicated. Merlini, his female assistant, the wealthy owner and a police inspector all guard the diamonds, but they are still stolen from the room they are in, despite a locked door being the only entrance.
