After a suspicious death is ordained as a suicide, a young, reclusive artist must use illegal street art to disclose a dark truth and stand up for his bereaved friend.
In an alleyway, LANI (20) uncovers her friend, MEI (19), unconscious on the ground. After trying to wake her, Lani realises that Mei is dead and calls for an ambulance. The next day, Lani tells her best friend, RIVER (23), about Mei and how she suspects that Mei was murdered by her girlfriend, ZAYA (22). This leads River down an investigation where he finds out that the police are labelling Mei's case as a suicide-however, Lani is steadfast in her belief. Late at night, River creates a mural in the alleyway where Mei passed away. The next day, he shows Lani the graffiti, and the two rejoice, happy that there is justice for Mei. Days later, Lani visits River again and tells him that Zaya has been arrested with murder charges. She was right. However, one question still lingers: was River the artist who created the mural?—Oliver Smuhar
