A gunman, during the Turkish occupation of Greece, collides with the landlords, considering them traitors. But when he learns that belong to the Society of Friends and prepare the Revolution, would become their ally.
During the hard and dangerous years of the Turkish occupation of Greece, a brave Klepht has a head-on confrontation with the local landowners and the feudal lords, utterly convinced that they have betrayed the nation. However, after a fateful event, he realises that these seemingly dishonourable men are, in fact, active members of a secret organisation founded in 1814 in Odessa, named the Society of Friends, whose principal purpose was to overthrow the Ottoman rule of Greece and establish a new and completely independent Greek state. Now, the former enemies have become allies, working for the Revolution and the cause for freedom.—Nick Riganas
