Anne Graham is acquitted of murder after her patient has died under suspicious circumstances. Changing her name, she gets a position nursing Edward Bentley who soon dies of what appears to be a copycat murder. Again, Anne is arrested.

Nurse Anne Graham (Margaret Lockwood) is controversially, but rightly, acquitted of murder after her elderly patient dies under suspicious circumstances.
