A pretty young cashier at a movie theater has a few problems--a local thug is interested in her and won't leave her alone, and she discovers that her uncle is stealing the box-office receipts.

Gladys Cosgrove (Loretta Young) is a movie theatre box-office cashier who has to contend with the unwanted advances of a gangster, 'Doc' Striker (Matthew Betz) but also with a crooked uncle, John Cosgrove (Ralph Lewis) who is stealing the box-office money.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
