Summaries

The rock group Genesis filmed live in concert.

Compiling footage from two shows in 1976, Genesis: In Concert documents the band shortly after the release of their album A Trick of the Tail, whose success proved they had a career ahead of them after the departure of their lead singer Peter Gabriel. Drummer Phil Collins took over singing duties, and the group employed Bill Bruford for percussion. Aside from the concert footage, surreal film sequences are employed as well.—Charlie Jones
