The main focus of this documentary film will be on his life and professional career, and how he is going to address the gap between where he currently is, and where he wants to be. As is the case for many artists, creatives, and creative specialists, flourishing on the professional stage, making the kind of art they want is the greatest objective. Many of them pour their lives into their art; literally their blood, sweat, and tears, all so that they could make work that is meaningful to them. With all this effort and commitment they put, there is usually a gap that lies between the projects they are currently making, and the projects the would want to make; a gap between where they are at this time, and where they would like to be. For most of us, the biggest question for them might be, "How do we bridge this gap?" This is the same situation that we will be trying to explore with the life and experiences of Kevin Outa. We want to understand the journey of his life, his career, and how he will eventually start creating the kind of work that speaks the most to him. We start off the documentary by exploring his past, and what influenced him into becoming a documentary filmmaker. We will do this by speaking directly to Outa, as well as some of his family members and his girlfriend.
