Summaries

John Franklin is involved in social work, and Colonel Woodson, a veteran of both the War Between the States and the Ku Klux Klan, separately help Tom Mather find the road to redemption. The colonel imbues Tom's boy, Sonny, with a love for God, home, and country, and John helps Tom's daughter find a cure for the lameness that has haunted her since birth.
