The Fast Lane [Hunt for Gold Mine] - is the story of a teenage boy, James, who lives in a council estate in Lagos. His single mother has raised him after the murder of his father by the famous club owner and drug dealer, Balog. James distracts himself from the temptations of the fast life in the streets by joining a local football academy with the aim of one day getting scouted. The intense banter by some of the lads in the academy makes James question his abilities. A loss of confidence allows James's closest friend Akin Joe pressure him into having a taste of the fast life. Shakira, a local gold-digger and club hopper acts on her long interest in James when she kisses him in Balog's club. This creates a confrontation between James and Balog. Balog is the biggest drug-dealer in town and he wants Shakira to be his main girl. When Balog's bodyguards manhandle James after the confrontation, Shakira comes to his rescue.—Audio Visual First Production
