Somewhere in the New Orleans Lower Ninth Ward, something sinister lurks. A series of bizarre and unexplained murders have begun to occur. 'Patch' Moreau is called upon once again. He is recruited by scientist Philippe Richard, for a covert mission to find what is believed to be an extra-terrestrial lifeform carrying a contagion that threatens all life on Earth.
Moreau is assigned to a new team of mercenaries, all of whom distrust him based on the falsified reports regarding his last mission. However straightforward the mission may seem, it becomes clear to 'Patch' and his team, that an even greater threat awaits them.
