In a beautiful village in the Pyrenees, little Anje fulfills his dream of becoming the assistant of Olentzero, an old wise man who delivers presents on Christmas in the Basque Country. His first "mission" is to sweep the magic workshop where Olentzero makes the gifts. Annoyed at what he does not consider a worthy task, Anje accidentally drops a small wooden log that is the prison where Olentzero keeps a little wicked elf called Iratxo. Iratxo convinces Anje to release him immediately starting to cause problems in the village and threatening the very Christmas.—Anonymous
