Set during the sweeping purges in 1980s Albania, a military regiment raising horses is disbanded under suspicion of being involved in a coup against dictator Enver Hoxha. One man, Agroni, resists the arbitrary decision to disband and liquidate the horses, which are also included as conspirators.
