Superman battles against an insurmountable foe named Doomsday.

Superman saves the mayor from Intergang on his way to an interview with Lois Lane. She's writing a story about Superman. At The Daily Planet, she bumps into her boyfriend, Clark Kent. She wants to meet his parents. When a meteorite hits a space station and then the Atlantic Ocean, it brings something with it - a powerful creature. Superman gets help from his fellow superheroes in Justice League to confront the threat. Meanwhile, Lex Luther is observing from his not so efficient house arrest.
