The comedy continues when the night shift is over and the three men go working on a day shift in a small district from outside the city.

In this continuation of the night shift: when the gas station the guys work at gets closed Daníel Georg and Ólafur decide to go work at a countryside hotel where they meet the owner Guðlaug who is an alcoholic and a lonely woman, Daniél gets hired as the cook, Ólafur gets hired as the front desk man, and Georg gets hired as the cleaner which annoys him, he tries to take advantage of Guðlaug to get the role of owner of the hotel, watch this second season of the shift series.
