Somewhere in the Forbidden Forest lives a wicked sorcerer Kruciatus (Josef Abrhám). One hundred years ago he tried to destroy a kingdom now ruled by King Alexander (Jaromír Hanzlík), who has two sons - the heir of the throne Prince Jan (Patrik Dergel) and the younger Prince Karel (Krystof Hádek). Karel is not satisfied with his role of the underrated second-placer. With the help of his servant Pakosta (Pavel Kríz), he breaks into the forbidden chamber full of magical properties, remaining there after the evil wizard, and intends to destroy his brother in order to get the throne for himself.—Czechfan

Not wanting to be second place, Karel sets out to remedy this any cost. With the help of his servant Pakosta, he breaks into the forbidden chamber, acquires some magical items left here from the evil sorcerer, and intends to destroy his brother. Prince Jan thus drinks a magic potion his fine brother serves him and his memory is instantly erased. Prince Jan then sets out on a journey into the Forbidden Forest - a place no one has ever returned from...

King Alexander's spare heir prince Karel plots to succeed instead of his 'weakling' brother, crow<n prince Jan, even if that means disposing of him. Karel intrudes the forbidden dungeon treasury to procure himself magical weapons, notably an amnesia potion. He manages to administer it to Jan, who forgets is identity and ventures clueless into the forbidden forest. There he reaches the home of wicked wizard Kruciatus, who also schemes to finally grab power of the whole realm with a century-growing magical wand, but his mute henchman manages to help Jan, who stumbles back to love and court. Karel volunteered to earn parental respect by looking for Karel, in vain, with devoted servant Pakosta, but his lies catch up.—KGF Vissers
