In WW2 when a new fascist prison warden takes over a Romanian prison he plans to kill the Communist inmates under the pretext of attempted escape during their forced-march transfer to another prison.

During WW2 a Romanian prison is taken over by a new fascist warden and administrator who is especially cruel to the political inmates.The Communist inmates have the most to fear from him since Fascist Romania allied with Nazi Germany is fighting a war against the Communist Soviet Union in the east.
