Two ex-cowboys from Montana wind up on the run when they are set up by a corrupt sheriff. They arrive in Nashville, where they open up a detective agency and soon they are hired to foil a kidnapping involving a singer.

Two Montana cowboys, J.D. and Will, wind up on the run from a corrupt sheriff after he sets them up in a sting operation. Now in Nashville, they decide to set up a detective agency and soon become involved in a kidnapping plot involving a singer and encounter near misses from shady individuals. Though this TV movie pilot was unsold, it eventually aired as a short-lived series on ABC in 1981 with Jerry Reed (reprising his role from the movie) and Geoffrey Scott (replacing Tom Selleck in the role of Will).—Kyle J.
