Violence begets violence in the dangerous world of Officer Phyllis Conway, a cop with a history of brutality against her male criminal suspects. With her partner, and closest friend, Ali Rhodes just recently promoted to detective above her head, Phyllis has become a loner and a pot just ready to boil.
When a string of murders starts cropping up bodies that all have a prior history with Phyllis, Internal Affairs begins to investigate. Murders begin piling up, all of them pointing to the hot-tempered cop that everyone knows will do anything like likes to anyone she wants. Internal Affairs begins their harassment, the Captain begins his assumptions, and all eyes are on Phyll Conwayeven those of her closest friend.
But when the real killer, a woman, calls and starts to gloat, everyones true colors will bleed into the stark light of day. Slowly Phyllis is pushed to the limit as suspicions and accusations taunt her on one side while the killer calls her nightly to taunt from the other. But it all falls apart when the killer reveals her knowledge of Phyllis past, reveals her ultimate intentions, and threatens one last person.
Choices will be made, loyalties will be strained, and tempers will be tested in this brutal examination of victims and those that hurt them.
