Lt. Matt Lewis and Sgt. Brian Scott are trying to catch Eugene Banks, whose dieing mother identified country singer Wes Collins as Eugene's deadbeat dad. Eugene wants revenge for this by killing Wes. Only Matt and Brian can stop him.

Matt and Scott are two detectives trying to catch a crazy guy who has a beef with a country singer. Banks' problem with country singer, Wes Collins, is that Wes was identified (by Banks' dying mother) as being Banks' deadbeat dad. Banks is now intent on getting revenge for this by killing Wes. Only Matt and Scott can stop him.
