Michael and Lisa, both 20, live together for a year and are certain that they will marry and have a family together. Just as they are preparing to move to another town where Mike could get a good job, Lisa discovers that she is pregnant. She must decide if she will tell Michael or if she will have an abortion secretly. If she tells him, she's sure he will want them to keep the child but that they'll regret it later because it ruined their future.
