Synopsis

The series where a team of contestants take on a quiz genius in a bid to take home 1000s of dollars.

Cash builder round:

In this round, each contestant is asked a series of non-multiple choice questions for 1 minute. For every correct answer, the contestant gains $2,000.

The host, then gives the contestant a choice of who they might play, before revealing who the days Chaser is, such as, the Beast Mark Labbett, the Governess Anne Hegerty, the Dark Destroyer Shaun Wallace, the supernerd, Issa Schultz, the Tiger Mum, Cheryl Toh.

Head to Head round:

The contestants each get an option of taking what they brought to the table, to be 5 steps from home and 3 ahead of the Chaser, a lower amount for 4 steps from home and 4 ahead or a higher amount for 6 steps from home and 2 ahead of the Chaser. After each contestant chooses their starting position, the host asks them a series of multiple choice questions with A, B or C answers. If the contestant is caught, they go home with nothing, but if they go through, they get a place in the days final and their money is added to the prize pot.

Final round:

In the final, the contestants choose one of two question sets and whichever they don't choose goes to the Chaser. The team get a head start of however many got through to the final and then have 2 minutes to get as high a target as is possible. The Chaser then has 2 minutes to attempt to catch the target, if they get caught, the team go home empty handed, but if they aren't caught, the team go home with a split of the prize fund.
