On Halloween night, Cotton Peters, dressed in a pink and white bunny costume, slaughtered his family and went on a killing spree that lasted for two years before he was finally apprehended by the local sheriff. Cut to seventeen years later, a janitor accidentally lets Peters escape. Peters once again dons his bunny costume, and begins stalking teenage Jayme Myers, who has a long buried connection to The Bunnyman. Peters begins to systematically pick off Jayme and her friends. Meanwhile, former sheriff, Sam Hooper, must find his way out of an alcoholic haze in order to save Jayme from The Bunnyman's wrath!
