A struggling artist, Michael, falls in love with a beautiful New York debutante only to be rejected by her family. Three years later, they meet in London when Caroline arrives with her new millionaire fiance and invites Michael to her wedding. On the eve of the wedding, however, Michael inherits a fortune whilst Hamilton loses his in an investment gamble. Now that their situation is reversed, Michael joins the Bridal Party in a last minute bid to win Caroline back. But who wins ...? This was a contemporary short version of the story.
