Summaries

A documentary featuring numerous Filipino Martial Arts luminaries and established styles and systems propagating the growth of an indigenous form of self defense from the Philippines with historic and social contributions to the world at large including its influence from military and law enforcement training to Hollywood films and television.—Sonny Sison

The Bladed Hand is an independently produced documentary highlighting the indigenous Filipino Martial Arts as a cultural phenomenon that has grown exponentially outside of its homeland, by way of Hollywood movies (thanks to Bruce Lee), law enforcement and the military. Sadly it is a disregarded, dying art in its homeland. The Filipino Martial Arts are the greatest cultural export of the Philippines, and its people are unaware of it.—Anonymous
