Mallory and her emotionally-minimalist boyfriend Ben are going on three years of - something. Mallory's irresponsible roommate Elise comes home early from a "sabbatical" with a surprise carry-on: her young lover Lionel. Ben becomes increasingly hostile as Mallory spirals out of control, realizing her relationship isn't what she thought it was.
