A promising 17 year old apprentice footballer is diagnosed with cancer. Initially he lies to his friends, team-mates and himself about his illness and pretends that his condition is not serious. After an operation fails to remove the tumor and he is told that his disease is terminal he is forced to come to terms with his condition, as are his father and older brother.—Mice Elf
