Synopsis

The Bench is an hour long heartwarming drama about a number of individuals who meet regularly on a park bench. Henry and Willa are good friends, and have got to know one another through their lunch breaks. However, its time, both start to want something more. Natalie has just moved to London. She is in love with the past and a man there but is not having so much luck with the new job she's started. She tells all to someone through her letter writing, emails and texts, which she composes while she's on the bench. Tommy is a city nurse, stressed out, over-worked, he escapes to the bench for a bit of peace and quiet and to grab snippets of his latest escapist novel. However, it's not just his patients who seem to want his attention. Gemma and Glen have been dating for a long time, Gemma's father has just had a heart attack and is in the same hospital where Tommy works. While they wait to visit, Glen chooses an inconvenient time for Gemma to make a proposal...
