Concerned for his coworker's well-being, Charlie checks in on Ed - only to find him in his basement cutting up a dead body. When the body opens its eyes and begins to scream, he finds himself in the middle of a fight against the undead.

It's Halloween night and Charlie, deeply concerned for his coworker's well-being, decides to check in on him. Ed has never seemed like a happy guy, but here recently it has become alarming. Charlie enters Ed's house with a key he was given when he helped Ed move in. He finds Ed in the basement. It's a startling discovery - Ed, saw in hand, cutting up a dead body. Ed claims it to be an act of self-defense. Obviously, Charlie does not believe him. That is, until the body opens its glowing green eyes and begins to scream. Thrust into a truly bizarre situation, when Charlie teams up with Ed, he finds himself entangled in a battle against an undead warlock and his army of the recently deceased. The goal; survive the night and live to fight another year. As the supernatural horrors escalate, Ed relies more on his dark sense of humor to get him through. Much to Charlie's dismay.
