A reporter and a detective team up to solve the murder of a nightclub singer who had been involved in a divorce scandal.

A cabaret dancing-star, who has been mixed up with many men and was part of a divorce scandal, is found murdered, as is the man whose wife divorced him because of the dancer. Suspicion falls on the former wife and the man who had been the dancer's business attorney.
