Synopsis

Synopsis of The Apocalypse 2007

The Apocalypse 2007 begins with multiple asteroids hurtling into a camp site. Jason (Rhett Giles) and Dan (not named in credits) are park rangers. After seeing the devastation of another asteroid and hearing that yet another large asteroid has completely destroyed Monterey, CA. the two are rattled.

After learning that another asteroid the size of Texas, called extinction starter is headed for earth and will hit in approximately four days, Ashley, (Jill Stapley) drives to Jason's so the two can go see their daughter Lindsay (Kristan Quintrall), in Los Angeles one more time.

Dan decides he wants to see his brother so steps outside to get his dog, Monk, to begin his trip. Within a matter of seconds Dan and Monk disappear which begins the string of supernatural happenings.

The story centers around the trip Ashley and Jason make from the area of Big Sur to Los Angeles.

As Ashley and Dan make their journey toward Los Angeles the story toggles between them and their daughter Lindsay and her boyfriend (Tom Nagel). Both couples experience the ominous disappearance of people, asteroid showers, falling ash, tornados and tsunamis.

The story evolves as believers and non believers face their mortality. The script, for the most part, is scripturally correct and as one might imagine includes man at his best and worst as the story switches between parents and daughter.
