The Adventure Family finds themselves on a quest for lost documents that takes them to the city of Denver. But they quickly find themselves on a perilous new treasure hunt in the mountains of Colorado, from which they may never return.

The Adventure Family had hoped to finally settle into their quiet new neighborhood in Franklin, Tennessee, but the creation of a Home Owner's Association that can control how The Adventures live their lives, threatens that peace. A long lost set of old documents can quickly put an end to the HOA's plans, but nobody's seen them in years, and the rumor is, they were taken to Denver when the previous owner moved away. It's up to the Adventure Family to drive to the Mile High City and obtain the papers before time expires and the HOA takes over. But while The Adventures are on a mission to save their neighborhood, someone else is on a much more sinister mission that could leave them rich beyond their wildest dreams at the expense of the family's lives. With the help of a group of homeless kids, whip smart 7-year-old Irie and book smart 8-year-old Camden are going to have to weave through Denver's storied history and decipher the clues before this mysterious new enemy destroys them all.
