After being sent to live with relatives in the wake of her father going to war in Iraq, a teenage girl discovers a lost diary in the old house. Within the diary she discovers a detailed account of a seven day period during the 60's. She soon realizes that the account expresses the experiences of a group of young people in an orphanage, and their reactions to the Cuban Missile Crisis.—Anonymous
