The 6 O'clock News is a comedy focused around a Los Angeles Public Access Channel news crew that has a daily news broadcast at six o'clock every weekday. The Crew consists of two lead anchors; one, a has-been network anchorman, the other, an alcoholic mess of an anchorwoman. They are accompanied by a perverted, womanizing weatherman, a porn-addicted sportscaster, a desperate field reporter, an irreverent camera man, a sexually confused production assistant, and a drug lord for a director.—Kasey Shirk

Thanks to Public Access television, anyone can produce and televise pretty much anything they want, and that is exactly what this crew does. The crews focus is to keep the public up to date and informed on everything important in the Los Angeles area. Unfortunately what they think is newsworthy is definitely irrelevant and insignificant to what's really important.—Kasey Shirk
