Chris gets motivated by his good friend Sebastian to try his luck as an art dealer in Los Angeles. Once Chris arrives there he gets robbed and therefore trouble with his landlord. After that incident he wants to go back to Austria. Sebastian convinces him to stay. Mr. Lonergan, who wants to help Chris to get into the art business helps him out with some money. Frustrated and not really sure what his next move should be, he travels through California to visit some friends. In Santa Cruz he gets to know a beautiful woman who is an artist. Can he find his inner peace and a way to work in the States?—Immanuel Degn
